چکیده
This comment points out errors in the analysis of 61 magnetic hyperfine structure ($A$) constants Co II energy levels by Fu et al. [JQSRT 2021, 107590]. The paper was published without full awareness extensive literature already available for $A$ at time; 57 58 that were claimed to have been measured first time had prior work Ding \& Pickering [ApJS 2020, 251:24], who 292 II. constant 3d$^6$4s$^2$ a$^5$D$_4$ has determined 107590] be $12.0\pm1.8$ mK (1 $=$ 0.001 cm$^{-1}$), which found agree with line profiles observed 251:24]. Discrepancies 17 found, are likely due weak, experimentally unclassified transitions Ritz wavenumbers 25453.966 cm$^{-1}$ and 25149.948 3d$^7$($^2$G)4s a$^3$G$_5$ 3d$^7$($^2$P)4s c$^3$P$_2$ respectively. Fewer poorer quality spectra analysed also concluded contributed disagreements constants.

EXCESS THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES CALCULATIONS FOR ALCOHOLS IN INERT SOLVENTS BASED ON FOURIER TRANSFORM INFRARED SPECTROSCOPY MEASUREMENTS
Self-association of alcohols; including ethanol, methanol, cyclopentanol and octanol in separate mixtures with inert solvents have been studied using FT-IR spectroscopy. Except for the band at 3640 cm–1 in the IR spectrum of the alcohols which is due to the monomer species, the presence of other bands in the region of stretching vibrational frequencies of OH (3100-3700 cm–1) are attributed to t...

Interactive comment on “Simultaneous atmospheric measurements using two Fourier transforminfrared spectrometers at the Polar Environment Atmospheric ResearchLaboratory during spring 2006, and comparisons with the AtmosphericChemistry Experiment-Fourier Transform Spectrometer” by D. Fu et al
Side-by-side intercomparisons of ground-based remote sounding instruments are of very high interest within the NDACC (Network for the Detection of Atmospheric Composition Change) community. There have been earlier studies (e.g., Murphy et al., 2001; Wunch et al., 2007) and there are planned future intercomparisons (e.g., Sung et al., to be submitted to ACP, 2008). It would be desirable to make ...

A somewhat weak point of the paper is that a clearly defined focus is not apparent: In the introduction it is said "..., it is nessessary to understand the difference between ground-based instruments that are used in satellite validation studies and this is the focus of this paper." According to the title, the validation of the ACE-FTS seems to be of equal importance. Judging from the length of...

Al2O3-SiO2 diphasic gel was synthesized by sol gel route from aluminium nitrate and silicic acid following aqueous phase colloidal interaction. The precursor gel powder was thoroughly characterized by chemical analysis, measurement of surface area and bulk density measurement. The gel powder was further characterized by thermogravimetry, XRD diffraction stud...
